Welcome to The Grain Sign Co's Trade direct page. This is a fast track service developed exclusively for design houses and sign companies. We have an excellent production facility that offers sandblasted, carved and CNC-cut sign systems. All work undertaken is produced in house.
We will respond quickly with pricing, indicating the trade price supplied to your premises, to allow you to price projects before having to proof. We work straight from your vector-based artwork. We accept files in the following formats:
- CorelDraw
- EPS
- AI
E-mail us a basic design of your artwork showing:
- Overall sign dimensions and colours required
- Proposed position and mounting required
- single or Double Sided
- Interior or exterior
- Special finishes and timber preference.
We always hold extensive stocks of Western Red Cedar, Yellow Cedar, English, and American White Oak, Mahogany, Iroko and Yellow Pine and White Ash. We also work extensively with various MDF and PVC substrates when cost is an issue.
We always advise the use of Western Red cedar, Yellow Cedar or Iroko for exterior sign systems due to its durability and visual aesthetic.
With our CNC cutting service we frequently manufacture Wooden lettering systems for fascia's and shop-fronts. These can be supplied on plastic or Nickle brass popper systems if required by our workshop.
We only use stainless steel fixings and hardware on our signs and hold extensive stocks that we can supply if required.

Most sign orders can be made and shipped within 12 working days. We closely inspect all signs, then bubble wrap and package the finished product ready for installation. For fast and easy delivery, The Grain accepts BACS or cheque.
