Corporate Branding for Carnon Downs Garden Centre
Whilst exhibiting at the Glee Garden & Leisure Exhibition trade show in Birmingham, The Grain was approached by Carnon Downs Garden Centre based near Truro in Cornwall. They were looking to re-brand and completely re-vamp their existing signage following a massive extension to their premises.
The first step in the process was to spend time with the clients discussing their present and future needs. Designing and producing great corporate identities starts with working closely with the client to assure that every advertising penny you spend works hard for you. We ascertained from their existing customer base that their main market sector was the fifties plus age group, and that any new logo and signage development must not alienate them.
Designers at The Grain drew some initial designs ideas for our next meeting, where it was agreed that the best way forward was to base the new identity on a 1950's tea label idea that we had conceived. Carnon Downs felt that while the new logo would have strong appeal to the older generation, it would also help to attract younger customers with its modern style. Our designers understand the importance of creating a sound campaign to deliver a strong, clear message that cuts through the advertising clutter and attracts your target market into your premises.
